Elijah Hakobian
Associate Attorney
Elijah Hakobian is an associate attorney at Baghdaserians Law Group.
Elijah gained invaluable experience and insight into law and motion and judicial decision-making while serving as a judicial law clerk for the Civil Division of the California Superior Court, County of Los Angeles. While clerking, Elijah worked with various judicial officers on a wide variety of intricate and high-profile civil matters. Elijah’s work included drafting tentative orders and bench memoranda for matters involving involuntary dissolutions of limited liability companies, breaches of fiduciary duties, breaches of implied covenants of good faith and fair dealing, breaches of contract, products liability, medical malpractice, wrongful death, and more.
Since joining Baghdaserians Law Group, Elijah has assisted his clients in achieving favorable outcomes in various complex family law matters. Elijah truly enjoys being an advocate for his clients in and out of the courtroom. His experience in taking complicated legal issues and presenting them in a simple, succinct manner has been a valuable asset to the firm and to its clients. Elijah’s clients can rest assured that he will work tirelessly to protect their rights and interests no matter the issue.
Elijah grew up in Pasadena. He studied psychology at Azusa Pacific University and graduated with cum laude honors. Elijah then went on to graduate from Southwestern Law School in the top 20% of his class. While at Southwestern, Elijah was a dean’s merit scholar, a teaching assistant for Legal Writing and Contract Law courses, and served on the Board of Governors for the Moot Court Honors Program. While a member of the Moot Court Honors Program, Elijah competed nationally as both a brief writer and an oral advocate. Additionally, Elijah served as a judicial extern for an independent calendar judge of the California Superior Court, County of Los Angeles and was a law clerk for two prominent litigation firms.
